A painting of the Cave Church interior by Sister Dulcie CSM&AA. Sister Dulcie was a nun of the Community of St Michael and All Angels (CSM&AA), an Anglican religious order of nuns based in Bloemfontein.
The letter accompanying the painting is dated 11 December 1942 and in it Sr. Dulcie (by then returned to England) writes that 'the sketch has been through fire & blast when our house was destroyed', a reference to the Blitz of London during World War II.
